Inside the men’s fashion, entertainment and culture magazine, the new father of twins talks about his wife Mariah Carey, being a “sex symbol” and how he was “built for fatherhood.”

On romance and Mariah Carey: “Mariah and I are both hopeless romantics. We just made a pact to say that we want to be in this because we enjoy each other and we love each other…We want to be successful at being in a relationship; we want to have a good time.”

On relationships: “A relationship shouldn’t seem like something you have to work at; it is not a task. We always wanted a fairy tale relationship…and the drama that normally comes with it, we [can] do without.”

On fatherhood: “I was built for fatherhood. I grew up in a family with a lot of kids…I have taken care of kids my whole life. As soon as my children were born, they became first and everything else became secondary.”

On being a sex symbol: “[Being labeled a sex symbol] comes with the territory when being a solid husband and good father. Women find that kind of stuff appealing and sexy. Growing up, I was always the smallest kid in the school…I was the skinny and lanky dude…So I embrace [being labeled a sex symbol] now.”

Terrell Owens opens up about being a broke & unemployed athlete, his rumored suicide attempts, baby mama drama and more in the latest issue of GQ Magazine.

On suicide attempts:
“The hospital released me that night. If they thought I was suicidal or I hadn’t been conscious, you ask yourself, would they have let me go that night? … But that doesn’t mean I don’t get real down. I’m human; that’s what people don’t realize. I may be a public figure, but really, I’m just like a guy who could be in your family and have some difficult things happen to him.”

On blowing $80 million dollars:
“I hate myself for letting this happen. I believed that they had my back when they said, ‘You take care of the football, and we’ll do the rest.’ And in the end, they just basically stole from me.”

 On his baby mama drama:
“If there’s anything I’m sorry about, it’s getting involved with all that.”

He never actually dated any of the women, he says. One was a one-night stand, the others “repeat offenders.” Owens, who has never been married, concedes he is “not a very good judge of character.” Still, he “never suspected they were the types to do what they done in the past year.”

On not having any friends:
“I’m in hell. I don’t have no friends. I don’t want no friends. That’s how I feel.”

On falling out with Kita and Mo:
He misses Monique and Kita, who used to check in a lot; he fell out with them a few months ago, after shooting ended for the final season of the show, when he discovered they were trying to sell their own lives as a reality program. “They said they were planning to make me an executive producer, but if we were business partners, don’t you think I would have known about it?”

On GOP candidates Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney:
“With someone like Newt Gingrich, it’s a different kettle of fish. Because as a private citizen he was for certain important health-care reforms and believed in climate change and believed there had to be a strong reaction to it. And now he’s just like Romney. Neither one of them can say what they believe to be true and get nominated. Romney’s still trying to figure out what he did as governor of Massachusetts and still appeal to this driving vituperative energy.”

On why he thinks President Obama will win the election:
“I think Barack Obama will be the next president. I think he will win. Because I think that whatever feelings the American people have about their own conditions and however much they may wish he had moved more quickly, I think that they will conclude that it takes a long time to get out of the kind of economic distress we were in and that his direction and policies are more likely to move us out of that than if they give the White House and the Congress to a party that will give them more of what they just had.”

On his ‘Clinton Global Initiative’ (CGI), which helps bring jobs to America that would otherwise be sent overseas:
“I just kept feeling that there was more possibility to create jobs in America without some huge government initiative. That if we could get businesses that are doing well together with people with good ideas, and with people that are doing training, and with banks that are willing to loan money under certain circumstances, then we could do some good. That’s what led to CGI America. And the commitments we’ve gotten will create or fill existing vacancies that haven’t been filled in months for more than 150,000 jobs and give more than twice that many people more-relevant job training. We also got another $265 million in direct commitments for investments of low-interest loans to small entrepreneurs, which is a big deal because the small-business loan rate in many areas has been going down even as the demand for the loans has recovered and, according to Pepperdine University, about 40 percent of American small businesses surveyed said they would hire more people if they could get the financing to do it.”

Justin Bieber, who will celebrate his 18th birthday next month, is all grown up, and is featured on the cover of V Magazine‘s first ever music issue.

Labeled as “Pop’s Crown Prince,” Justin strikes a pose in a mesh-knit black Dolce & Gabbana sweater on the cover, and inside the magazine is a spread photographed by Inez & Vnoodh and styled by Lady Gaga associate Nicola Formichetti.

“I want to be successful and be great and what I do,” Justin tells the high fashion magazine. “But eventually, I want to become the best at what I do. I want to be the best. In the world. I want to be better than anybody that’s ever done it. And in order to do that, I need to strive to be the best, be good to people and treat people with respect, and work as hard as I can.”

As for what he likes to do in his free time, JB said, “I just hang out with my friends, go to the movies. In L.A., I go to Jaden’s all the time.”

Jennifer Hudson says the birth of her 2-year-old son David Jr inspired her to take control of her health and lose weight.

Jennifer Hudson shows off her “80 pounds lighter” body on the cover of the February 2012 issue of Good Housekeeping.

Shortly after giving birth to her son David Jr, Jennifer became the spokesperson for Weight Watchers and ended up losing at least 80 pounds, putting her at a size 6.

“I feel like a doll that I get to dress up!” she says in her interview with the magazine.

“It’s crazy. They have to drag me off the red carpet! Because now it’s like, ‘You’re going to take a picture of what I’m wearing? You’re looking at me?’ I live for it.”

The R&B singer also admits that her 2-year-old son isn’t at all familiar with the old her, and doesn’t recognize her in old photos.

“He’s never known me overweight,” she says. “If he sees a clip of the old Jennifer from Dreamgirls, he doesn’t know who it is.”

Jennifer says that it was becoming a mother that really inspired her to take control of her life and join Weight Watchers.

“Everything changed the day my son was born,” she says. “Motherhood brought tremendous responsibilities … none greater than the obligation I felt to get healthy and be there for my son..”

“David deserved to have a mama who could run after him without getting wounded or tired, to have a role model who could teach him to make healthy food choices. I needed him to grow up with a mama who always would be there for him by caring enough about herself to take control of her health and her eating,” Hudson said.

Jennifer also explained how she inspired her family to join the Weight Watchers program and shed some pounds of their own.

“Over 75 of them are on Weight Watchers, and they’ve lost over 2,000 pounds altogether,” she proudly told the magazine. “My cousin beat me, she’s lost 112 pounds!”

Paris Hilton says her companies have generated over $1 billion in revenue since 2005 in her cover story for FHM UK Magazine.

“I’m involved in my products every step of the way. My fragrances are doing really well at the moment,” Hilton says in her cover story for the January 2012 issue of FHM UK Magazine.

Not only are her fragrances doing well, but Paris says all of her products as a whole are making big moves.

In fact, her companies have reportedly generated over $1 billion in revenue over the last six years. Yes … that’s billion as in “Billion.” With a B.

“I have 35 stores and 17 product lines,” Hilton tells the U.K. version of FHM magazine. “And then there’s my racing team, my 14 fragrances and my new project, the Paris Hilton Beach Club chain. The first one is opening in the Philippines soon. It’s going to have nightclubs, restaurants, bars, gyms. Everything really.”

“They’ve produced more than $1.3 billion in revenue since 2005,” she proudly states.

Hilton, who is currently dating Dutch DJ and music producer Afrojack, also revealed her plans to release a follow-up to her 2006 debut album, which was considered a flop by all standards.

“I have a huge passion for house music,” Hilton said. “I just haven’t been able to focus on it, because I have been doing reality TV for so long now. I’ve been working on the album with lots of other top DJs for a while now and I think people will be really surprised. It’s very modern and very catchy; perfect party music.”

“There are just so many great DJs right now,” Hilton adds. “And I should know — I’ve been to over 100 raves in the past year, so I’ve heard every type of music.”

17-year-old Dakota Fanning is all grown up now.

Dakota Fanning is not a little girl anymore.

The now 17-year-old actress who first came onto the scene in 2001 in the Oscar nominated movie “I Am Sam” shows off a more grown-up look on the cover of the new February 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine as their “Fun Fearless Female of the Year.”

“Since I was young, I’ve always known who I was,” the actress, who is currently in the middle of her freshman year at New York University, tells the magazine.

“I never really had to go through finding who I am. I’ve always felt really secure.”

The teenage actress, who began her career when she was just six years old, recently said in an interview with Britain’s Elle Magazine that she can’t believe how much she has accomplished so far at such a young age.

“I feel like I’ve lived a long time, but then I realize ‘Oh, I’m actually only 17,” she said.

Despite her success, the actress says she went to a “completely normal” high school and tries to live a pretty normal life.

She says she has remained so down-to-earth, in fact, that her friends sometimes forget that she’s a movie star. “My friends are like, ‘Oh wow, I just forget that you do movies.”

Beyonce shines and sparkles in a multi-colored sequined dress as she, in her pre-baby bump form, covers the February 2012 issue of Glamour Paris Magazine.

As we reported yesterday, the world is still on “Beyonce Baby Watch” as she has yet to deliver her first child with her rapper husband Jay-Z.

The word on the street was that Beyonce gave birth to a daughter named “Tiana Marie Carter” over the weekend of Christmas, however a new report from People Magazine states that the 30-year-old singer was clearly eating for two when she was spotted out with her husband Jay-Z feasting on fried chicken and oysters on New Year’s Eve at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn.

“She was definitely a pregnant lady that night,” said an onlooker. “They sat side by side and had a cozy and intimate dinner. They seemed to be having a lovely time. [Beyonce] looked amazing. She wore sky-high heels. It was really impressive for an enormously pregnant woman,” added the source. She looked like she was about to give birth.”

Beyonce also got props from her sister Solange, who tweeted on New Year’s Day, “Shout out to my sister for being THE cutest pregnant woman ever!”

Beyonce shows off her sexy legs on the cover of Jones Magazine‘s first-ever Winter Arts & Entertainment issue, which is recognizing the R&B/Pop star for the contributions she has made to music, film, fashion and beyonce.

For her first Jones cover, Beyonce was photographed by Greg Gex (obviously way before she announced her pregnancy) from the terrace of the Maurice in Paris, France.

“I believe that parents prepare their kids for the moment that they’re on their own: at this point, I am taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me, and I’m able to do things my way,” the 30-year-old entertainer, who is expecting her first child with her rapper husband Jay-Z, told the magazine.

Kelly Rowland has been estranged from her biological father Christopher Lovett for more than 20 years and has never had a father figure in her life.

And you would think that since Kelly calls her former Destiny’s Child bandmate Beyonce her sister….then she would naturally consider Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles as her own father figure. But apparently that’s not the case.

In Kelly’s cover story for the latest issue of JET magazine (on newsstands now), the R&B singer reveals that she plans on meeting her real dad, who has battled alcoholism throughout his life and hasn’t seen his daughter since she was seven, for the first time in over two decades for the upcoming Holiday season.

“I think every little girl wants to be a darling in her father’s eyes, and I’m going to get the opportunity to meet my biological father, so we’ll see what happens” the 30-year-old star, who was raised by her mother, admits. “That’s all I can say because I’m going to meet someone I haven’t seen in more than 20 years. In my heart I have forgiven him.”

When asked about her former manager Mathew Knowles, who is the father of her sister/best friend Beyonce, and whether he played that father role in her life, Rowland responded:

“Well, I am so thankful I was able to have my mom and Tina (Knowles), as well as wonderful women in my life, so I’m happy about that.”

Even though Adele — recently named Billboard’s “Artist of the Year” — is basking in the success of her sophomore album “21,” which to date has sold over 13 million copies worldwide since its January 2011 release, the 23-year-old London native says she isn’t even thinking about her third album.

In fact, fans of the British singer, who is currently recovering from emergency throat surgery, shouldn’t expect another album from her for another 2 to 3 years.

“I’m really looking forward to some time to do nothing. I imagine I’ll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven’t even thought about my third record yet,” Adele told Billboard. “I’m just gonna lay some concrete, set up home and just ‘be’ for a bit. I’ll disappear and come back with a record when it’s good enough. There will be no new music until it’s good enough and until I’m ready.”

When asked if she had started writing any songs for the follow-up to her 4x Platinum album “21,” she responded, “Nope!”

For those wondering how Adele is doing following her vocal surgery, she said, “The surgery couldn’t have gone better. But because I was singing with damaged vocal chords for three or four months and because of the surgery and because of the silence after the surgery I now have to build myself back up vocally.”

She continued, “It’s gonna be a lot easier for me to sing now. And mentally I won’t be worried about my voice on stage anymore. So I have to get used to that. That’ll take most of January, so February I’ll be singing properly!”

Lindsay Lohan‘s entire Playboy Magazine photo spread hit the web today, just one day after the actress’ cover leaked.

The Marilyn Monroe inspired photo shoot, which cost Hugh Hefner and Playboy a reported $1 million, shows the troubled actress topless against a red velvet background and paying homage to Monroe’s iconic Playboy Magazine photo.

A rep for the magazine tells FoxNews.com, “Someone took photos of Lindsay Lohan’s pictorial in an advanced copy of the January/February issue. They posted the photos online without permission. We are not releasing any official images or information until December 15.”

Vivica A. Fox told Access Hollywood in an interview this week that she called off her engagement with Atlanta club promoter Omar “Slimm” White … but apparently, that’s not how it went down.

According to Slimm — aka the “six pack and a smile” — he was the one who ended the relationship and he says Vivica is just trying to save face rather than admit the truth.

In an open letter released yesterday, Slimm tells his side of the story, calling his ex a liar and defending himself against claims of him using Vivica for her celebrity, adding that he would probably still be with her if she would stop with all of the “childish antics” and let go of the negativity.

Slim also adds that he was completely blindsided with the fact that Vivica had conducted an interview for the December 2011 issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine (Check out the cover above!) about their relationship, apparently without his knowledge, after they had broken up.

I totally understand that a person would rather save face and avoid admitting their fiancé ended the relationship. So I understood why Vivica didn’t admit the reality of what really took place. She would have come out better if she stated we went our separate ways if she wanted to avoid the “true” nature of the breakup. The main thing is don’t lie… she and I know what happened so just be cordial and keep it moving. She knew from day one when I first met her I would joke and say “hey baby don’t hit me with that 2 can play that game” lol those methods destroy relationships. I hate games and negativity

I understand the illusion of life and what to avoid so I’m happy at the decision I made and one thing that was evident if she keeps it real or not is the fact I told her several times that “baby, no matter what we disagree about, let’s keep peace and love in the house.”

As you see in the month of December, her and I appeared on the cover of Sister 2 Sister, and when I saw the cover I was shocked because I walked away 2 months prior but I came to the realization that Vivica went ahead and did the interview as if nothing happened (At that time the public wasn’t aware of our breakup) So I’m thinking like if you really wanted to get Married instead of getting caught up in all the glitz and glamour you wouldn’t have continued to provoke stress in the relationship. If you were to ask Vivica right now, “Did Slimm try time and time again to keep the relationship strong” she would have no choice but to admit who I am and the good examples I set! I always told her toward the end that “baby, I will loose interest if we keep this up”… When you have a bond with a woman that fire can fade if both parties involve don’t fight to preserve Chemistry…

But as I stated once before she has a great personality and a good spirit but you will never find true happiness if you cannot …overcome negativity and childish antics… I wish her the Best

Lindsay Lohan‘s hugely anticipated Playboy Magazine cover has leaked online prematurely!

Shortly after it was reported yesterday that Lilo would debut the “tasteful” spread herself next week exclusively on The Ellen DeGeneres Show … a photo of the cover popped up online, showing Lindsay with big blonde curls dressed in nothing but black stiletto heels while posing on a red chair shaped like the Playboy logo.

The full issue hits shelves next Thursday (Dec 15), the very same day Lindsay will make her guest appearance on Ellen.

The year 2011 saw the rise … and fall of a lot of celebrities but it takes a real superstar to be named “Entertainer of the Year” for the year 2011 by Entertainment Weekly Magazine.

That star is none other than Harry Potter himself!

Daniel Radcliffe, 22 not only starred in one of the biggest movie franchises of all time, he also took Broadway by storm.

According to EW magazine editior, Jess Cagle the adorably charming Brit deserves the title based on his talent and personality alone:

Even though Harry Potter was and always will be his most popular role, you won’t find any wizards or spells in Daniel’s next film, the English thriller, “The Woman in White.” Based on the book of the same title, the film chronicles a lawyer’s plunge into a world of crime and mystery.

Lindsay Lohan‘s little sister Ali Lohan is laughing off rumors that she had plastic surgery.

The 17-year-old was the on the receiving end of a lot of backlash when photos of her looking like a totally different person first popped up on the Internet after she signed with a modeling agency.

But Aliana tells Page Six Magazine in a brand new cover story that those rumors are completely ridiculous.

“I was cracking up. Because, like, when would I do that? I’m 17 years old,”" Ali insisted. “That’s not legal! I would need my mother’s signature, and do you think my mom would ever sign off on that? No!”

In addition to calling plastic surgery “not the right thing to do,” she said rumors claiming that she went under the knife are “stupid. It’s absolutely not true.”

Ali also admits that her sister is the perfect example of what NOT to do when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

“I’m lucky enough that I had my sister to learn from. I’ve seen people do it to her, so I’ve learned to be like, ‘That’s stupid, no.’ That’s why me and Lindsay are also so close, because we’re able to talk about those things together,” she explained.

Kim Kardashian can’t make her mind up on whether she’s a hopeless romantic or not …. but luckily she has her big sister Khloe to help out!

In her brand new cover story for the January 2012 issue of Glamour Magazine, the reality star, who poses alongside her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, says she still believes in the idea of love and the perfect relationship, but needs to be more realistic.

Kim Kardashian: …I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic.

Glamour: What do you mean by that?

Kim Kardashian: It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.

Khloé Kardashian: I love Kim’s belief in love and the fact that she feels so strongly about it. She has that dream every girl has.

T.I. is featured on the cover of the December 2011 issue of VIBE Magazine, where the Kang makes one hell of a controversial statement that has gotten the gay community all riled up:

“Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, ‘C’mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a d**k, you can take a joke.’ [Cracks up laughing.] That sh*t was funny to me. And it’s kind of true.’”

The conversation shifts from Muammar Gaddafi’s death—which occurred five days prior—to Osama Bin Laden’s assassination to both Eastern giant’s once empowered relationship with the U.S. government. “It’s like everybody that the U.S. was besties with, years later they’re the worst person in the world,” says Tip. “My question is what character traits do they possess now that they didn’t possess when y’all were besties? What made it go astray, and who’s to say they were on the dishonest end of that?”

Dressed in an elegant, form-fitting blue gown, Jennifer Hudson shows off her curves as she covers the December 2011/January 2012 issue of Ebony Magazine, where she talks about a number of topics, including marriage, motherhood, her weight loss, and how attending an event with her fiancee David Otunga back in October 2008 basically saved her life.

On a sad day in October 2008, the “Dreamgirls” star’s mother, nephew and brother were tragically shot and killed. But what most people don’t know is that Hudson was originally supposed to be with them on that very same day, however, her fiancee David Otunga asked her to attend one of his WWE fights in Florida.

So instead of being in Chicago with her family, she flew out to Florida to be with her fiancee, something she recalls saved her life.

“He wanted me to come out to Florida with him instead of going to Chicago,” Jennifer explains. “I flew out to see him; that’s why I’m still here. That’s one of the things that saved my life. Because I could have been home with my mum then. I’ve never said that before, and I can’t believe I just said that now. But I didn’t know.”

Speaking on her weight loss and the controversy behind Joy Behar from ‘The View’ saying she was a size zero, Hudson said, “I am going to finally address that size-zero thing that Joy [Behar] said on The View. Hell I wasn’t even on the show. I never said I was a size zero. I got crucified by I don’t know how many people who cussed me out because they said I’m putting out the wrong message and telling people to be a size zero. I got called every name under the sun and was told, ‘You should be ashamed of yourself for talking about being that size.’ Well, honey, when I do say I’m that size, then give me that speech. I never said that.”

Kim Kardashian covers the December 2011 issue of Marie Claire Magazine, where she mainly talks about her marriage to Kris Humphries.

In the interview, conducted just weeks before the reality TV star filed for divorce from her husband after only 72 days of marriage, Kim talks about her million dollar nuptials, how she’s “not worried” about her relationship with Kris because “we have a lot of trust, and I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that,” and a lot of other topics that seem a lot more awkward now that we all know that her marriage was a complete sham.

When asked about the numbers (about her wedding), Kim smiles demurely, “I don’t talk about money.” And yet she, like the rest of her family, talks about virtually everything else, in front of millions of people. To the Kardashians, making Kim’s wedding into a media circus was a no-brainer. “I felt like if I didn’t show the wedding, it would be upsetting for people who have taken this journey with me,” Kim says earnestly.

The whirlwind courtship of Kim and Kris raised some eyebrows, including carefully plucked ones within her own family, but Kim is blasé about her rush to the altar. “We felt like, ‘Why wait?’” she explains. “It’s fun to have a partner who understands your life and lets you be you.”

On Kris:
“I’m not worried about him at all. We have a lot of trust, and I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that. It makes life so easy. He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check. He is a normal guy, and I just want to chill out and be normal and not get glammed up all the time. He gets it. Sometimes my life can be really intimidating for people, but he allows me to work and do what I’ve gotta do.”

On her first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas:
“I was 19, and I didn’t know myself. As unhappy as I was, and as happy as I am now not to be in that relationship, I learned so much from it: who I wanted to be, who I never wanted to be — you take all those issues and move on. I learned how to cook and do a lot of marital things. It definitely taught me what being a wife is all about. I think it means taking care of each other’s needs and being there for someone unconditionally.”

On her family’s reality shows:
“We made a pact as a family and said we would be truly authentic because people don’t buy bull—. We’ll just be who we are, and – love it or hate it – we have each other. I think that’s what makes it so relatable, because we are not afraid to show crazy things.”

Jay-Z graces the cover of GQ’s upcoming “Men Of The Year” December issue, where the soon-to-be father speaks on his relationship with his late father Adnis Reeves (who abandoned his family when Jay was 11 years old) and also reveals how he plans on not just providing for his child, but also being deeply involved in their life.

On his father abandoning him:

“If your dad died before you were born, yeah, it hurts—but it’s not like you had a connection with something that was real. Not to say it’s any better—but to have that connection and then have it ripped away was, like, the worst. My dad was such a good dad that when he left, he left a huge scar. He was my superhero.”

On meeting with his father before his death:

Just a month before his father died in 2003 from alcoholism … Jay got a chance to meet with him and finally get to say all of the things that had been affecting him for years.

“[I talked about] what it did to me, what it meant, asked him why. There was no real answer. There was nothing he could say, because there’s no excuse for that. There really isn’t. So there was nothing he could say to satisfy me, except to hear me out. And it was up to me to forgive and let it go.”

On physically being there for his child:

“Providing—that’s not love. Being there—that’s more important. I mean, we see that. We see that with all these rich socialites. They’re crying out for attention; they’re hurting for love. I’m not being judgmental—I’m just making an observation. They’re crying out for the love that maybe they didn’t get at home, and they got everything. All the material things that they need and want. So we know that’s not the key.

On him changing diapers:

“Of course, of course. One hundred percent.”

On letting the baby ride in the back of his Maybach:

“Yeah. Wouldn’t that be great? That would be a great picture.”

George Clooney shares way too much information about his per-pubescent sex life, which he claims he started “early,” in his cover story in the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, where he reveals how he had his first orgasm when he was in the first grade. (Wow!)

“I believe it was while climbing a rope when I was six or seven years old,” Clooney tells Rolling Stone magazine. “I mean, nothing came out, but all the other elements were there. I remember getting to the top of the rope, hanging off the rope, and going, “Oh, my God, this feels great!”

The actor said it wouldn’t be for another 10 years until he would officially lose his V-Card. “Young, very young, too young,” Clooney said of losing his virginity at 16 years old.

Clooney also talked about other things, including how he “punished” himself for masturbating (which he believed to be a “crucial,” but sinful, habit), his love of the word “Johnson,” how he’s fond of farts and much more.

On struggling with Bell’s palsy, a form of facial paralysis, when he was young:

Mariah Carey is proud to show off her post-baby body (or post-babies, we should say) to the world!

The songstress, who gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe back in April, lost a staggering 70 pounds after embarking on the Jenny Craig diet plan, she revealed earlier this week during an appearance on OWN’s “The Rosie Show.”

She is also featured on the cover of the latest issue of US Weekly Magazine, where she proclaims: “I Got My Body Back!” and she explains her easy day-to-day diet plan that helped her lose 30 pounds in just 3 months.

But it wasn’t easy, explains Carey, who admits she was initially worried she would never be the same again after the pregnancy.

She told Rosie O’Donnell, “In the beginning, when I first had the babies, I had so much edema, water and swelling. Most pregnant women have that just in their feet. One day I was doing my thank-yous and I noticed it started rising up the leg, so I had edema. I didn’t think I would ever be the same person.”

Because she wasn’t able to exercise after having a Caesarian section, Mariah says it was the Jenny Craig diet plan that helped her lose most of her weight.

“The first week, I lost 40 lbs of just water. It was just water, initially. When I started with the program, I lost at least 30 lbs of weight that needs to be lost,” she explained.

The 42-year-old star also explained how she struggled throughout her pregnancy, and even had trouble on bed rest.

“I had a really tough pregnancy. I was supposed to be on bed rest, but it was so bad then even bed hurt. I learned a lot being pregnant, watching my body change,” she said. “The whole point of this is not just like, ‘Oh hey, look at me and my weight loss, I’m fantastic.’ It’s really healthy. Like I said, I learned it when I became helpless and felt so vulnerable like never before in my life.”

“I learned a lot being pregnant and watching my body change…going ‘Why did I put so many mirrors in this freakin’ house.’ I’m walking past these mirrors and I’m ready to die,” Mariah said with a laugh. “But I left them there. It was what it was.”

Inside the issue, the Maybach Music Group rapper talks about a number of topics, including why he signed with Rick Ross‘ new label and how that deal came about, what he wants his legacy in Hip-Hop to be, wanting to be an advocate for women and more.

Before the release of your first album, you built an impressive buzz for yourself. So what caused the album to fail to meet the high expectations?
I put that on myself to get back to where I need to be. We’re working. I do music for my fans and family. My fans appreciated my first album. But my label didn’t ship it for whatever reason. I re-evaluated my life and my situation and now I’m in a different place. I found out a lot of artists can’t go to a city and do a show with 2,000 people. I’m blessed to have people who appreciate what I do.

When did Rick Ross reach out to you?
The Maybach Music Group deal came about when I was a free agent. I look at Rick Ross as more than an artist. I didn’t sign to be a side kick, I want to be an artist and do what I’m capable of doing musically. Ross let’s me do that. He’s the boss at the label, but he’s not bossing me around.

So what is the biggest difference in being at MMG vs. being at Interscope?
The difference is freedom. I’m very in tune with urban culture. I felt my last situation wasn’t allowing me to grow with the urban culture. They saw a Lady Gaga opportunity and I went with it. I was a new artist and I didn’t get it. I thought I was being ignored by black America. It’s not as much money, but to connect with the people I grew up with is more important than connecting with pop fans. Even the white people who are familiar with my music deserve to hear what I’m really saying. I shouldn’t be marketed toward top 40. When I listen to my first album, you can hear who I am talking to. But I now have an opportunity to change that.

You have a lot of female fans. How important is it for you to balance the risque songs such as “No Hands” with inspirational tracks such as “Diary”?
I want to be an advocate for the women. I may say some wild things, but that’s our time to have fun. But I stand for fixing the world our way. Let’s add spice to this and change the world. I believe women should go to school to network with others who will change the world. I’m encouraging. I’m a part of the problem, but I want to be a part of the clean up. “No Hands” is the party and “Ambitious Girls” is the clean up. We can have fun, but I hope you’re getting up and going to class. I don’t want to get in the way of that. That [is] something you have to do. For two years, I had to walk around with about $15 in my account. That was my time. I left school and had to get on my grind. I was about 21. Now show me you can work the system for four or five years and continue to do your thing.

You caught flack from black women for not having dark-skinned females in your “Pretty Girls” video. How did that make you feel?
It wasn’t about that, but it showed me what I meant to the black culture. That made me realize that people hold me at a higher regard. That was when I knew I had to make a change. For “Pretty Girls,” I didn’t go on set until there were dark-skinned girls at the video shoot. I was waiting. The most horrible feeling in the world, was that my women think that I don’t care about them. I’d rather go broke than for my black women to think that I don’t care about them. I would rather lose everything than to have my queens think I’m turning my back on them. I was the only kid in my neighborhood with a father. And that’s because I’m African and they don’t divorce. It messed me up. When I was in Mississippi, a girl told me she had her first child at 16. So I made a song called “Illest B—- Alive.” There’s a special place in my heart for black girls. If you’re black and have a black mother, you know how special they are.

Beyond the physical, what is the most attractive thing about a woman?
I like girls who can get the intellect popping. Instead of liking me just because I rap, I like girls who can ask about where I was mentally when I thought of making a certain record. I can find a nice amount of girls who think I’m attractive or whatever, but intellect is very important. “Lotus Flower Bomb” was a record that I wanted to create a long time ago. I’m not sure if radio was ready for that at the time. That’s kind of an adult vibe. I was 23 when I was writing my first project. I was doing what I was told to do instead of doing what my heart told me to do.

What do you think people say about you as it relates to hip-hop?
I want my legacy to be that I was humble. I want people to know my heart more and more into every album. Know that I really stand for this culture and the people. Most of us know each other. Whenever people say there are only a few real dudes in this joint, I know that I’m one of them.

About Sheree she says, “Sheree is very mean spirited. I think Sheree thinks she’s everything. She’s got a bad attitude.”

And about Phaedra, NeNe commented, “I almost feel like she was that girl at home looking at the tv going, ‘Let me on that show!’ I call her Fake-dra.”

Rihanna wears a sexy canary yellow dress as the covers the latest issue of Spain’s Cosmopolitan Magazine.

In other Rihanna news, the Pop star has reportedly settled with famed photographer David LaChapelle after he sued her for $1 million earlier this year on claims that scenes from her raunchy “S&M” video were stolen from his past work.

In the suit against Rihanna and her label Def Jam, Chapelle alleged that the video copied his poses, lighting, wardrobe and props.

“I like RiRi,” LaChapelle said when launching the suit earlier this summer. “This is not personal, it’s strictly business. Musicians commonly pay to sample music or use someone’s beats and there should be no difference when sampling an artist’s visuals.”

After Manhattan federal Judge Shira Scheindlin said in July that the surrealist shutterbug “successfully alleges” that the songstress and her video director may have copied his images, now we’re exclusively told Rihanna has settled the case for an undisclosed sum.

Jaret Keller, LaChapelle’s publicist, confirmed Rihanna had settled the case but declined to comment further. He said, “David is happy with the settlement.”

LaChapelle is famous for his surreal and sexualized portraits of celebrities including Madonna, Paris Hilton, Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson and Lady Gaga.

His suit argued that the video is “directly derived from and substantially similar to’’ eight photographs he created, including a dominatrix walking a chained man on a leash, a woman in latex headgear and Gaga wearing newspaper headlines.
The court agreed the video’s “pink room scene,” which featured the star dominating a man in front of pink-and-white striped walls, was similar to LaChapelle’s “Striped Face” photograph.

What made you cut off all your hair?
When I was a little girl I used to love Sinéad O’Connor’s video and song “Nothing Compares 2 U.” I knew I wanted to look as beautiful as she did one day, so when I was old enough to make my own decisions, at 19, I cut it off, and it’s been over eight years now.

Was the decision to cut your hair easy to do, or was it something you went back and forth on?
I knew I wanted to do it really bad, but I was scared. As a woman your hair is your confidence. But once I did it, I never went back.

When and what was your first tattoo?
I was 15 and I got paw prints on my upper thigh. It was kind of a fad in Philly and all the girls had them.

Do you plan on getting another tattoo? What would it be of?
I want to get two full sleeves eventually, but I just don’t know what I want yet.

How do you manage to ignore the haters and the negativity and remain confident?
It’s not easy—I won’t lie. But I choose to keep my life positive. I’m not perfect, so I ask God to forgive me all the time and thank him for helping me grow into a better woman. That gets me through everything.

Which tattoo of yours was the most painful?
Definitely the flower on my lower stomach; that’s a very sensitive area. I teared up a little.

What are your thoughts on couples showing their love for each other through ink?
Wiz and I did it, but we want to be together forever. So I guess really make sure you want to be with that person forever, and try to wait until you’re older, when you can make better decisions. I suggest getting a small tattoo, just in case you break up—then it’s an easy cover-up.

Have you ever regretted your big arm piece? Does it ever interfere with wardrobe choices?
No. I love my roses and I think it goes with everything I wear.

Have you found that having body art has restricted your career goals in any way?
No, not at all. But when I get my sleeves, it probably will be a problem.

Do you have a certain tattoo artist that is your go-to?
Yes! His name is Tuki [Carter], out of Atlanta.

Rap legends Eminem and Lil Wayne share the cover of GQ Magazine’s November 2011 “Gods of Rock” issue with Rock legend Keith Richards.

The tribute pays homage to artists who have survived through drug addictions, legal woes and other personal tribulations, something the three rock stars can relate to.

Also highlighted in GQ’s “Gods or Rock” issue are Erykah Badu, Outkast’s Andre 3000 and Big Boi, Metallica and more.

Inside the pages of the magazine, Eminem discusses his battle with drug addiction, which he started in 2000 when he released “The Marshall Mathers LP” and got even worse when he recorded “Encore” in 2004.

“Five or six songs leaked from the original version of Encore,” Slim Shady recalls. “So I had to go in and make new songs to replace them. In my head I was pissed off: ‘Oh well. Songs leaked. Fuck it. I’m just going to take a bunch of fucking pills and go in there and have a party with myself.’ I’m sure the more pills I took, the goofier I got.”

As a survivor of the battle rappers/rockers face with drugs, Eminem says, “The thing sobriety has taught me the most is the way I’m wired – why my thought process is so different.” He adds, “I’ve realized that the way I am helps with the music. Sporadic thoughts will pop into my head and I’ll have to go write something down, and the next thing you know I’ve written a whole song in an hour.”

“But sometimes it sucks, and I wish I was wired like a regular person and could go have a f**kin’ drink. But that’s the biggest thing about addiction: When you realize that you cannot – for f**k’s sake, you can not – f**k around with nothing ever again. I never understood when people would say it’s a disease. Like, ‘Stop it, d**khead. It’s not a disease!’ But I finally realized, F**k, man – it really is.”

I have spent a lot of time researching the ways they were represented in art and how their images were used to mold the public imagination—and to convey aesthetic and philosophical ideas about beauty and sexual desire. My main interest has been to link the historical artistic approach to female representation to contemporary icons of the media era.

“In my most recent works, for example, I transformed Princess ­Caroline of Hanover into a Garbo-esque Queen Christina, I asked ­actress Eva Mendes to become three symbols of classical sculpture (Venus, Saint ­Teresa, and Paolina Borghese), and I framed Lady Gaga into a de ­Chirico–inspired robotic extravaganza. For W, I wanted to turn the lovely Nicki Minaj into a powdered 18th-century courtesan.

“In her performances, Minaj makes very explicit and ­challenging use of her beauty and her body, so I thought of comparing her to some of the most famous courtesans in history: the Marquise de ­Montespan, Comtesse du Barry, Madame de Pompadour, and ­Madame Rimsky-­Korsakov. My idea was to reproduce four iconic portraits of some of the most fascinating females of the past in a series starring an American pop-culture role model. We tried to re-create those original portraits using similar furniture, props, and clothing, à la Visconti. Luckily enough, the result came out as surreal as it could be, just as I wished.”

Beyonce is featured on the cover of the November 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, where the “Countdown” singer talks about how she announced her pregnancy to the world at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, living the married life with Jay-Z and how she’s no longer concerned with other people’s opinions about her life decisions.

On her big pregnancy reveal at the 2011 VMAs:
“I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to unveil it. It was important to me that I was able to do it myself. I was extremely nervous. It was the toughest red carpet I ever did. I didn’t want a crazy picture or gossip story to break the news, so I decided to say nothing and proudly show my baby bump. I felt it was more powerful to see the love and enthusiasm as opposed to saying anything.:

On living the married life with her husband, rapper Jay-Z:
“We have been together since I was 20 years old. We took our time and developed an unbreakable friendship before we got married. I admire his ability to inspire others. To me, Jay represents the American dream. Jay’s music has helped define our generation. All that he has overcome and worked to achieve gives millions hope that they can become whatever they want to be. I respect him so much; he is a great man and a great artist.

“We focused three years on our marriage and found that it brought us an even stronger bond and connection. But like anything great and successful in your life, marriage takes hard work and sacrifice. It has to be something both you and your husband deeply want. The best thing about marriage is the amount of growth you have because you can no longer hide from your fears and insecurities. There’s someone right there calling you out on your flaws and building you up when you need the support. If you are with the right person, it brings out the best version of you.”

On her forthcoming maternity line for House of Dereon:
“All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman. It’s been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering says, but I still rock my stilettos. I’ve had so much fun with fashion over the months. I have been pregnant through every event I’ve done, from the Billboard Awards to Glastonbury.”

On the women who inspire her fashion-wise:
“I love Kate Moss. I think she has great style. And I always admire Victoria Beckham and Gisele [Bündchen]. Their style is modern but always classic.”

On where she is in life right now:
“I am finally at the stage in my life where I am not so concerned with other people’s opinions about my life decisions. It is so liberating to really know what I want, what truly makes me happy, what I will not tolerate. I have learned that it is no one else’s job to take care of me but me.”

Gwyneth Paltrow on her BFF Beyonce:
“Our best times have been when we are just sitting around in sweatpants, having a glass of wine, chatting about life,” Paltrow says. “B is wise beyond her years. She has taught me the value of speaking your mind. She is clear and honest and true to herself while being respectful. She will be an incredible mother because she is so full of love and she knows who she is.”

50 Cent is all business on the cover of the October 24th/31st issue of JET Magazine, where the rapper discusses his new book “50 Cent Playground: The Mostly True Story of a Reformed Bully,” which he hopes will encourage kids to think about how bullying impacts communities.

The rapper also opens up about his personal life, talks about how he raised his teenage son, and why he believes there’s a difference between earning a college degree and truly being educated.

The issue hits newsstands October 24th.

Rihanna has been named the sexiest woman alive in the latest issue of Esquire Magazine.

In her cover story for the November 2011 issue, the pop singer reveals that she is still a big fan of her ex Chris Brown and never wishes anything bad on him.

“It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. It’s incredible to see how he pulled out the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.”

We have a strong feeling that these two are going to get back together in the next few years. They’re too friendly with each other these days.

Kelly Rowland is pretty in hot pink on the cover of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine, where the 30-year-old R&B singer and “X Factor Judge” dishes on having a boob job back in 2007 because she was sick of her “little nuggets” and her relationship with her father, who she claims she hasn’t seen in almost 2 decades.

Rowland also talked about being single and she even opened up about her very public break-up with her fiance, footballer Roy Williams, back in 2005.

A group of students at the University of Houston got the surprise of a lifetime earlier this week when Beyonce randomly showed up while her mother Tina Knowles was being honored for her accomplishments as a mother, businesswoman and philanthropist.

As a proud daughter, Beyonce sat in the audience while her mom was being interviewed for the school’s Women’s Studies and Friends of Women’s Studies Living Archive Program.

Beyonce’s visit was made public after a student tweeted about her surprise appearance, and before the interview was over, hundreds of students began to crowd into the library and begin to chant “Beyonce! Beyonce!”

Houston Chronicle reporter Joy Sewing, who interviewed Tina, wrote:

Beyonce, who is pregnant with her first child, was a bit bothered by the chaos since it was her mother’s big day. But afterwards the singer, wearing 5-inch heels, made a quick stop in the lobby to wave to the students: “Wow, this is crazy how fast that happens,” she said to me. “Just one tweet.”

On having suicidal thoughts in the past:
“I kept having doors slammed in my face. I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life?’ I would pray to God to make me famous so that I could buy my mother a huge house.”

“He would beg, cry, stalk us… One time, he pulled my mother out of a car and dragged her for two blocks. After that, I had a phobia about unlocked doors. Anywhere my mother and I were, I made sure the door was locked, because that was my only way to protect her.”

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are showing off their their massive Beverly Hills compound in the latest issue of Architectural Digest Magazine.

The couple’s estate sits on 3 acres and the home features a large painting by Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, as well as tons of other artworks; tables, chairs, blanks and rugs from different centuries and various continents around the world; shoe shelves filled with sneakers (Ellen) and stilletos (Portia); a luxurious pool in the back with sweeping views of the Los Angeles area; a media room, where the couple got married in 2008; and a mediation room.

Well, it is a big deal. They would be ‘Oh. My. God’ There would also be still a 50/50 split. Some people would still be, ‘See, told you they’re not together.”

Kristen is acutely aware of all the gossipmongers. Far more so than I am, it seems. She knows about names: the “Robstens” (those who think K-Stew” and R-Patz” are together); the “Nonstens” (those fans who think they aren’t) and the “F***stens” (those who say they don’t give a monkey’s either way – but actually really do). I ask her who it is such a big deal to? These deranged fans? To her and Rob? What is it she’s so worried about?

“I don’t worry about it at all. It’s just one of those things. I’m selfish. I’m like, ‘That’s mine!’ And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It’s a funny little game to play and it’s a slippery slope. I always say to myself I’m never going to give anything away because there’s never any point or benefit for me.”

Dressed in a gold-trimmed, red velour jacket and a black fedora, Weezy looks like he’s channeling late rock legend Jimi Hendrix on the cover of the October/November 2011 issue of the magazine.

Inside, the Young Money CEO candidly dishes on a number of topics, including dissing Jay-Z and the repercussions behind it, whether or not he looks at his rap protege Drake as competition, how competition is for “the old guys,” and lots more.

“There’s no competition [with any artists]. Music isn’t about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy… Everybody just happy to do music these days. There are no problems. That shit died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys.”

VIBE: You say competition is for the “old guys,” but it sounds like you’re going at Jay-Z with that line, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money.” Are we looking at it the wrong way?

LIL WAYNE: I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know that for a fact, I can never be upset about someone’s reaction to it. I’m not gonna say I don’t know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.

VIBE: So you knew the repercussions of going after Jay before anything even happened?

LIL WAYNE: Well, I’m a man. I believe as a man you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did.

VIBE: You mentioned how humbled you were at the success of “She Will.” Drake, who wrote and performs the song’s chorus, has now become a platinum star in his own right. Do you look at the guy and say, “Wow, I helped create a monster, I have to stay on my toes”?

LIL WAYNE: I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.

VIBE: Given that Cash Money artist Jay Sean is a native of the U.K., you probably have some strong feelings about the London riots and how some talking heads blamed it on hip-hop culture.

LIL WAYNE: All you could do is pray for the people that were dealing with the situation and hope for the best. As far as them blaming hip-hop, you can blame Jesus for things, so you can’t really fault anybody for blaming someone or something. All you can do is hope for the best.

She hopes to have her debut ready for a fourth quarter release, but label representatives have said not to expect it until early 2012. “I’m praying for a break for two weeks to finish the album,” she says. “I can only see it from my point of view and my point of view is I’m stressed and I’m busy. Even Columbia says, ‘We’ve never worked an artist as hard as we work you.’ This is crazy. So many people want a piece of you. At the same time I still wanna keep everything like how the old days were.”

It’s clear that going back to the old days won’t be possible, not when she’s got punishing promo campaigns to maintain and veteran (if slightly unhinged) rappers talking about putting assault rifles in her face. Which begs the question: Is this what she had in mind when she was editing videos in her apartment, struggling to make ends meet?

“I never made anything with the intention of signing a record deal,” she says. “It was just for fun. The moment I realized I could get a record deal, was when I got a record deal. I didn’t see myself getting famous.”

“People say, ‘You’re changing the game,’” she continues. “I’m just being me. This is what I’ve been doing.” Whatever it is, it’s worked—so far. But can she keep it up now that she’s been mainstreamed? Stay tuned.

To have a ride-or-die woman, for somebody that’s in the position I’m in, that’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

On why he disappeared after releasing his last album:
I wanted to clear my head, besides detox. I had to look at the root of the whole problem, and that was work and the business. I wasn’t trying to hear it from nobody. I’m not even going to attack the people in my life that didn’t step in and try to stop it, ’cause I was just so bullheaded. There’s no way to slow somebody when they’re speeding down a path of destruction.

I thought I was dealing with it in the proper way. I was in the moment. And when you’re that young, with that opportunity, all that money, and all that respect and power, sometimes you run with it. ’Cause I was like, “Man, you don’t know if this shit’s gon’ be here tomorrow.”

On quitting weed & controlling his liquor:
Like, party a bit? It was easy for me to quit smoking weed because I stopped liking the way it made me feel. I didn’t like being one foot in, one foot out of reality. I could be blitzed out of my skull and somebody might be plotting to snuff me in the club. I can still sip my whiskey but I control my intake of liquor. I just don’t like the way it makes me feel [to be out-of-control drunk]. Especially in this business where you’ve got to watch the snakes in the grass. I really like being more alert.

I go out every once in a while. Not as much as I used to. Particularly in L.A., it’s tough because of the paparazzi. Even though it’s not going to happen, they’re waiting to see me f*cking stumble out of a club again.
